Pastor Jonathan Turner
Jonathan Turner has been serving in local church ministry since April of 2009, and served Antioch as Student Pastor from March 2013 to May of 2016. However, on May 15th, 2016 Antioch Baptist Church called Pastor Jonathan as their new Senior Pastor. Pastor Jonathan is excited for what the future holds at Antioch.
Pastor Jonathan received his B.S. in Biblical Studies from Liberty University and an M.A. in Theological Studies from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. He recently finished his Masters of Divinity in Christian Ministry from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Aside from being a life-long student and having a passion for ministry you could find Pastor Jonathan enjoying time with his best friend and wife Chelsea. Pastor Jonathan also enjoys working-out, golf, basketball, football and most sports. Furthermore, this bio would not be complete without a shout-out to Pastor Jonathan's three favorite teams: The Alabama Crimson Tide, The Chicago Cubs and The Liberty Flames.
Pastor Jonathan and his wife Chelsea were married on July 20, 2013. Chelsea is truly Pastor Jonathan's better half and his ministry would not be what it is today if it wasn't for his wife.
Pastor Jonathan's favorite verses:
Psalm 145:3, "Great is the LORD and greatly to be praised and His greatness is unsearchable."
John 3:30, “He must increase and I must decrease.”
Jeremiah 1:5 “I chose you before I formed you in the womb; I set you apart before you were born. I appointed you a prophet to the nation.”
2 Timothy 2:13 "Even when we are faithless, He is faithful, for He cannot deny Himself."
